Six weeks after engagement, Nigerian nurse and fiancée died in a car accident

Kareem Oluwagbemiga Bright, a Nigerian nurse, and his fiancée died in a car accident six weeks after they got engaged.

Yesterday, an automobile accident occurred on the Jos-Abuja road.

Kareem worked as an intern nurse at the Federal Medical Center in Yola, Adamawa State, until his death.

On December 6, 2021, the couple got engaged in front of their friends and family.

Nurses on Air wrote on Facebook;

“It’s so sad to hear the passing of a dear colleague, Nurse Kareem Oluwagbemiga, admin of @nursingcouncillecture and his fiancee. They both died after being a victim of an accident on Jos-Abuja road. This is a great loss to the nursing community. May the Lord console their family and the whole nursing community.”
